Vince Lombardi said, “There’s only one way to succeed in anything, and that is to give it everything.” That is how Mark Dion has approached his life and his client work.

Mark has pursued life’s opportunities with Lombardi’s famed tenacity. He graduated early from college and in his first four years in Washington, Mark went from driving a Senator around town to running a congressional office. His vast and varied D.C. experience enables him to offer unique insights to his clients. 

Mark has served as an aide in the U.S. Senate, been a chief of staff and legislative director in the U.S. House of Representatives, managed a political action committee for a major national trade association, lobbied on federal health care issues, and run campaigns for the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate. Mark has also been a top strategic consultant and developed advertising campaigns for presidential, gubernatorial, senatorial, and congressional candidates.

As a founding partner of Revolution, Mark has embedded the firm with a client-first, results-driven culture. He specializes in developing fully-integrated public affairs and image campaigns for major trade associations, Fortune 500 companies, and foreign countries. In recent years, Mark has spearheaded an opinion elite branding campaign for the Republic of Panama, provided strategic advice to Daytona International Speedway and the International Speedway Corp., and directed a series of high-profile issue advertising campaigns on energy issues for the Consumer Energy Alliance, American Energy Alliance, and Institute for Energy Research.

Mark earned his degree from Syracuse University where he had a lot of fun serving as the school’s mascot, “Otto the Orange.” He and his wife Stacey, live in Washington, D.C. with their two young children.
